Summer ’03 Conference Is a Huge Success - Celebrated 30 years of TARC conferences

The 30th annual TARC conference, held July 21 – 22 at the Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin, attracted more than 100 advancement staffers from colleges, universities and independent K-12 schools from across Tennessee and the Southeast. Past presidents were honored at the opening night reception that featured a 1970s theme in honor of the milestone anniversary of the organization.


Past presidents of TARC (from left) Dawn Bramlett of Freed-Hardeman University, Louise Lynch of University School of Jackson, Elaine Kelsey of Columbia State Community College, Dr. Jack Snider of King College, and Keith Carver (front) of the University of Tennessee shared memories of 30 years of TARC conferences.


Ashley Brown ( left) and Angela Mills, both development officers from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, got into the ‘70s theme of the opening reception with vintage outfits.



Dr. Jack Snider, senior vice president for advancement at King College in Bristol, cut the anniversary cake.
